Bastiaan Voormolen has over two decades of experience in the finance and operations sectors, currently serving as Claims / Operations Team Lead and Business Lead for AI for Operations at Allianz since April 2007. Previous roles include Senior Business Analyst and Investment Controller at Allianz, as well as Performance Analyst and Senior BO Derivatives at PGGM from September 2004 to March 2007. Prior to that, Bastiaan worked as a Finance Specialist with PwC Consulting, IBM, and Conquaestor from October 2001 to August 2004. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation from the CAIA Association obtained in 2009 and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Economics with a focus on Controlling from the University of Groningen, completed in 2001. Additional studies were undertaken at Universidad de Granada.
