Mike Schleifer is a seasoned theatre management professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. As a Founding Partner at Volute Partners, LLC since 2018, Mike focuses on consultancy for capital projects and operational support, working with clients such as True Colors Theatre Company and Actor's Express Theatre Company. In the role of Managing Director at the Alliance Theatre since 2014, Mike oversees a significant regional theatre with a substantial budget and staffing framework, successfully managing complex contracts and leading a major capital renovation project. Previous experience includes serving as General Manager at Baltimore Center Stage, where Mike managed a substantial production budget and staff, and provided leadership in production coordination and contract negotiations. Educational credentials include a graduate program at Harvard Business School in performance measurement for effective management of nonprofit organizations and a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Administration from Towson University.
