Makalee Cooper is currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at the Alliance Theatre since July 2023, supporting classroom management and co-teaching for theatre camps aimed at children aged 5-8. In addition, Makalee is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow at the Mellon Foundation, engaging in research that will culminate in a 35-page paper and provide support for future graduate studies. Makalee previously held multiple roles at Oxford College of Emory University, including Resident Assistant, Library Leader, Student Ambassador, and Student Library Assistant, showcasing strong leadership and organizational skills. An earlier internship at the Alliance Theatre allowed Makalee to develop significant professional skills, contributing to production documentation and promotional initiatives. Makalee is pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Emory University, following an Associate of Arts in Human Biology from Oxford College.
