Hemanth Puttashamaiah is a seasoned hardware engineering professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently employed at NVIDIA since January 2024, Hemanth previously served as Director of Engineering for SoC Design at Qualcomm, where leadership was provided for Chipleads, SoC Integration, and SoC Infra from April 2018 to January 2024. Prior roles include Director of Engineering for VLSI at Cientra, Managing SoC Development at Microchip Technology, and Engineering Manager at AMD, with significant contributions to server and client processors. Hemanth's career began with key positions at Xilinx Inc., and as an independent consultant, alongside foundational experience as a graduate teaching assistant and systems analyst. Hemanth holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Systems from West Virginia University.
