Nathan Murphy's work experience includes roles at various companies. In 2015, they worked at McDonald's as a Hiring Manager, overseeing production and recruitment of new employees. In 2017, they joined Amazon as a Central Operations Associate. Starting in 2018, they worked at Exotic Metals Forming as a Laser Operator, where they operated and trained on various CNC lasers. In 2019, they interned at Exotic Metals Forming as a Lean Engineering Intern, designing aluminum structures and implementing shop floor infrastructure. Currently, in 2022, they are employed at Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC as a Project Engineer, responsible for planning and implementing new infrastructure and systems to drive company goals. Nathan also serves as an Application Engineer, providing engineering consultation and modifying customer plant layouts.

Nathan Murphy has a diverse education history in the fields of business analytics, engineering, manufacturing, physics, and data processing. Nathan completed their Masters of Science in Business Analytics at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, specializing in Data Processing and Data Processing Technology/Technician. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (BS) with a minor in Manufacturing from Eastern Washington University. During this time, their studies focused on engineering and manufacturing.
