Craig Madson has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Craig began their career as a National Management Trainee at Sears, Roebuck & Co in 2003. Craig then worked as a Marketing Specialist at Alliance Laundry Systems LLC before moving on to roles such as Speed Queen Consumer Laundry District Sales Manager, Speed Queen Consumer Laundry Regional Sales Manager, and UniMac Regional Sales Manager.
In 2011, they transitioned to the role of National Account Sales Manager at Alliance Laundry Systems, where they successfully solicited, managed, and developed important national account opportunities. Craig consistently met and exceeded sales and margin budget goals, achieving 32% sales growth over three years.
Craig Madson then took on the position of North American Sales Manager, Multi-Housing, at Alliance Laundry Systems, where they excelled in developing and executing channel 3-year plans, sales training programs, and annual sales and expense budgets. Notable accomplishments include 23% net sales growth and the implementation of a 90-day forecast process to reduce forecasting variance by over 35%. Craig also designed SKU reduction and product standardization initiatives that delivered a 2.3% margin improvement.
In their subsequent roles at Alliance Laundry Systems, Craig Madson continued to demonstrate their expertise in product management, continuous improvement, and engineering. As the Director of Continuous Improvement & 80/20, they defined and implemented the 80/20 methodology, resulting in significant SKU reduction, improved product margin, and reduced product lead times.
Most recently, Craig Madson has been serving as the Vice President of Product & Engineering at Alliance Laundry Systems since January 2022. In this role, they have led the turnaround of North American Engineering, revitalizing new product development and accelerating development cycles while reducing turnover.
Outside of Alliance Laundry Systems, Craig Madson also served as the Director of Riptide Volleyball Club from 2003 to 2014. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a coaching staff, as well as managing various aspects of the club's operations, including practice schedules, tournaments, fundraising events, and marketing communications.
Craig Madson completed their education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Craig holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management, which they obtained in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing in 2002. In 2021, they obtained a certification as a Pragmatic Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Institute.
