Thomas Kish has over 45 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Thomas began their career in 1974 as an Associate Administrator at Bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital. In 1979, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Montezuma County Hospital District, where they were responsible for turning around the hospital to make it profitable, accredited and expand the medical staff. From 1985 to 1995, they served as Senior Vice President at THE METHODIST HOSPITAL SYSTEM, where they had major responsibility for Methodist owned and managed hospitals, as well as international affiliations in Mexico, Central and South America, Turkey and other locations. Thomas also served as CEO of one Methodist owned and one Methodist managed hospital. From 1995 to 2003, they were the President & Chief Executive Officer of New Albany Surgical Hospital, where they were responsible for the construction and launch of the new, physician-owned hospital. This included construction of the facility, selecting management team, hiring initial patient care staff, installing all hospital systems, obtaining accreditation and more. From 2010 to 2019, they were the President of Verras, Ltd. and, since 2019, they have been the Chief Operating Officer at Alliance Care Technologies, Inc. Thomas has also had multiple interim executive roles, including Interim CEO of Matagorda Regional Medical Center in 1987, Interim CEO of Winona Memorial Hospital in 2004, and Interim CFO of Westchester General Hospital in 2012.
Thomas Kish obtained a B.S. in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University between 1965 and 1969. Thomas then went on to receive an MHA in Hospital Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis between 1973 and 1975. Additionally, they have obtained an AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
