Juan B. GarcÃa MartÃnez is an accomplished research manager at ALLFED, focusing on research management and strategy since November 2019. Previously serving as a research coordinator and associate, Juan's work includes investigating industrial technologies like Single Cell Protein for potential use in extreme food supply crises and manned space missions, as well as conducting interdisciplinary research to address Global Catastrophic Risks. In addition to roles at ALLFED, Juan co-founded the Observatorio de Riesgos Catastróficos Globales and serves as an interim director, facilitating a science-policy interface for risk reduction in Spanish-speaking regions. Juan also provides consulting services on microbial protein production and has interned on cleaner fuel synthesis research at TNO.
