Matthew Pearson, CISA, has extensive experience in cybersecurity, information systems auditing, and compliance, currently serving as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at ALLETE since July 2010. In this role, Matthew performs and reviews complex Information System audits to ensure compliance with established standards. Previous positions at ALLETE include Information Systems Auditor Senior, Programmer Analyst, and Media Technician, each involving responsibilities such as system administration, video production, and Oracle Enterprise Business Suite development. Prior to ALLETE, Matthew developed online ads and websites for American Consolidated Media and served as a Corporate Compliance Specialist at Essentia Health. Matthew's career began as Director of Computer Services at the Diocese of Superior, overseeing centralized computer center operations and technical staff. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The College of St. Scholastica.
