Poul Sørensen is a distinguished professional in the field of biomedicine and biotechnology, currently serving as Partner and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at ARGOBIO since September 2022, and as Co-founder & Chief Scientific Officer at Allero Therapeutics since November 2016. In addition to these roles, Poul holds the position of Honorary Professor of Biomedicine at Aarhus University. Previous experience includes serving as Partner at Ventac Partners, Global Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development at Medday Pharmaceuticals, and Senior Vice President at Stallergenes Greer. Poul's earlier career includes roles at ALK Abelló and LEO Pharma, as well as leadership positions at Micromet AG and the Biotech Research & Innovation Centre. Educationally, Poul obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen and an M.Sc. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Aarhus.
