Laurie McGahey currently serves as the Vice President of Development at Allentown Art Museum, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, McGahey was the Deputy Director and Senior Director of Advancement at James A. Michener Art Museum from January 2013 to January 2021. Additional experience includes serving as an Independent Sponsorship Contractor for Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., and Associate Director of Development at Hammer Museum, with a substantial tenure at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles as Deputy Director of Development and Associate Director of Individual Giving.
