Gerardo Monreal has over 22 years of experience in the field of IC design. Gerardo started their career at Electronica Bilotti as an IC Designer, assisting Prof. Ing. Alberto Bilotti in their personal consulting firm. After that, they moved to Allegro MicroSystems where they held various roles, including serving as the Allegro Argentina Design Center Director & Global Innovation Design Director. Under their leadership, the center grew to include over 120 engineers and developed more than 150 products for the automotive and industrial markets. During their time at Allegro, Gerardo also served as a Sr. IC Designer in the US, taking ownership of the new Switches and Linear Hall Magnetic Sensors. Throughout their career, Gerardo has obtained over 50 US patents.
Gerardo Monreal earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Southern New Hampshire University between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Buenos Aires from 1988 to 1994, obtaining a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
