Devang Patel has a diverse and extensive work experience. Devang is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at Allegient Defense since January 2024. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President at Allegient Defense from January 2019 to January 2024. Before joining Allegient Defense, Patel worked at Integrated Finance & Accounting Solutions (IFAS) as Vice President from May 2017 to January 2019. Devang also served as the Director of National Security at XLA from October 2012 to 2017. From October 2009 to October 2012, Patel worked as a Program Manager at ALON. Additionally, they held the role of Principal at ATA Solutions Consulting from April 2009 to December 2011. Earlier in their career, Patel worked as a Solutions Architect at Nuance Communications from November 2004 to November 2008. Devang began their career at Viecore, where they held the positions of Sales Engineer from 2004 to 2006 and Software Engineer from 1999 to 2004.

Devang Patel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science and Information Systems with a focus on Decision Support Systems from Penn State University in 1999. In 2005, they obtained a Master's degree in IS/IT Project Management from Villanova University. Additionally, Devang Patel holds a PMP certification from PMI, which was obtained in 2011.
