Ben Cannon, MPH, CPH has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and data science. Ben is currently working as the Director of Data Science at AllCare Health, starting in March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Health Data Systems Analyst at AllCare Health from February 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining AllCare Health, Ben held several positions at Curry Community Health. Ben served as the Chief Information Officer from November 2019 to December 2020, overseeing the company's IT infrastructure and data. Prior to that, they worked as a Public Health Administrator from December 2016 to October 2019, leading the public health department staff and coordinating health planning and development efforts.

Ben also has experience working in the field of drug and alcohol prevention and treatment. Ben served as a Data Manager at Utah County Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment from December 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they collaborated with the CFO to provide management support and administrative oversight to client information systems.

Additionally, Ben worked as a Consultant at Freedom from Hunger from September 2014 to December 2014, where they provided data analysis of program participant surveys. Ben also co-founded LaughModel and worked as a Health Marketing Consultant from May 2013 to December 2014, delivering online health promotion offerings.

During their time at Computational Health Science from March 2012 to December 2014, Ben worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, collaborating on a project that leveraged social media data for addressing health issues. Ben also published a paper in the Journal of Medical Internet Research during this period.

Ben's earlier experiences include working as a Research Consultant at Zenti, Inc. from October 2013 to May 2014, where they contributed to a research project on suicide/depression tracking on social media. Ben also served as the Executive Director of Sustain Haiti from May 2011 to June 2013, overseeing the organization's operations and working to improve lives in Haiti.

Finally, Ben started their career as a Sustainable Development Intern at Novatek from August 2010 to September 2011, conducting research in sustainable agriculture and energy sources.

Ben Cannon earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Health with a specialization in Epidemiology from Brigham Young University, completing their studies between 2008 and 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications as a Certified Public Health (CPH) from the National Board of Public Health Examiners in October 2014 and as an OSHA 30 Hour professional from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in December 2012.
