Remus Zaharescu has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Remus currently holds the role of Director of International Sales - Weather at ADB SAFEGATE since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the VP of International Sales at All Weather, Inc. (AWI) starting from 2019. Before that, they held the position of VP of Sales at Weather Technology Solutions in 2016 and Vice President at Leadership Without Borders in the same year. In 2017-2018, they worked as the Manager of Sales and Sales Operations at RK. Furthermore, they had an extensive career at Vaisala, where they held various roles such as Global Sales Director - Renewable Energy (2014-2016), Sales Director - North America - Weather (2009-2014), Segment Manager - Enterprise (Energy, Insurance, and Maritime) (2005-2009), Regional Manager - Latin America - Weather (2003-2005), and Sales Manager/Global Product Manager - EMEA & LatAm (2000-2003). Earlier in their career, they worked as the Commercial Manager - EMEA & LatAm at Global Atmospherics Inc. (2000-2002), and in sales positions at Vibac Spa, DME Company, and Henkel Canada Corporation in 1999.

Remus Zaharescu's education history includes an MBA and MIM (Master of Business Administration and Master of International Management) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, with a focus on International Marketing & Finance. Remus also studied Business Administration and Management at HEC Montréal. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from the Université de Montréal. Remus Zaharescu completed their secondary education at Collège Stanislas with a Bachelier degree, specializing in Serie D.
