Layla Ahmed is an experienced professional currently serving as a Category Manager at All About Food Ltd, having transitioned from a nearly two-year tenure on the Commercial Graduate Scheme. Layla is also the founder of Layered by Layla, a business established during the first lockdown that specializes in high-quality handmade cakes, showcasing skills in website development, product refinement, and logistics. Previous roles include a Baker at Oula Creative Catering, NHS Volunteer Responder at GoodSAM, and Waitress at the Restaurant at Huntleys, where strong teamwork and customer service skills were developed. Layla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and International Business from the University of Leeds and completed a study abroad program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with a foundation degree in Art Studies from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
