Nirav Shah has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nirav is currently working as a Software Engineer at Alkira, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern (Devops) at the same company from February 2021 to May 2021.

Before joining Alkira, Inc., Nirav worked as a Research Assistant at Laplante Labs - North Carolina State University from February 2020 to February 2021. In this role, they focused on developing automated computer vision-based solutions using Python for cell structure and cell division study. Nirav also devised Auto Clustering of proteins over frames of microscopic images using Density based clustering (DBScan) with 96% accuracy.

Nirav also gained experience as a Python Programmer at USDA from July 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they developed a web application showcasing data related to various diseases in plants and animals using R-Shiny and Python-Django. Nirav containerized the application and designed continuous delivery/deployment using AWS CodePipeline. Nirav also improved scalability of the application using Elastic Load Balancer and AWS EC2 Auto Scaling.

Additionally, Nirav worked as a Data Science Intern at E2Excel from December 2018 to May 2019. During this time, they created a social media analytics module including twitter and Facebook sentiment analysis using LSTM, Python, and Django. Nirav also developed an algorithm for question tree generation using clustering and POS tagging and utilized data analysis to interpret survey response data and show demographics.

Prior to E2Excel, Nirav served as a Python Developer Intern at FirstAlign from June 2018 to December 2018. In this role, they developed python programs for labeling, data conversion, and preprocessing of data. Nirav also researched and constructed models for technical indicators used for predicting future stock values via Neural Network and parallelized the operation of generating technical indicators on real-time data.

Nirav Shah began their education journey in 2015 at CHAROTAR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Nirav successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2019. Following their bachelor's degree, they joined the NC State University Graduate School in 2019, where they are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Nirav obtained a Master Of Computer Science certification from North Carolina State University in May 2021. Prior to that, they acquired certifications in various subjects, including "CS213.3x Algorithms" and "CS213.2x: Implementation of Data Structures," both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Additionally, they completed the "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" certification from MITx on edX in March 2016.
