Shannon Wainright has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Shannon began their career in 1998 as a Senior Developer and Owner for SSCOTT Consulting, Inc. and Development and Operations Manager for Substitute Online, Inc. In 2012, they took on the role of UI/UX Developer for LOC Card - LOC Enterprises, LLC. In 2013, they became a Software Architect for Benefit Solutions, Inc. and in 2014, they became a Senior Software Engineer for SNUPI Technologies. From 2015 to 2016, they held roles as Senior Software Consultant for Martin Group, Software Engineering Architect for Wally, and Software Engineer for DreamBox Learning. In 2017, they began their current role as Senior Software Engineer for Alitheon.

Shannon Wainright obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.M.E) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 1988 and 1992, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
