Marine Vallez has a diverse range of work experiences. In 2021, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Alithea Genomics and also completed their Master thesis. Prior to this, in 2020, they were an R&D Intern at Abionic, where they participated in projects focused on increasing the sensitivity of tests and characterizing the surface of biosensors. In 2020, they gained lab immersion experience in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where they worked on introducing a tetracycline inducible system in different bacteria. Marine also has experience as an animator at 'Planète Santé' health exhibition in 2018 and as a research intern at the Medtronic Chair in Neuroengineering at Campus Biotech in 2017.
Marine Vallez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences and Technology from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2018. Marine then pursued a Master's degree in Life Sciences Engineering, specializing in Biomedical Engineering, from EPFL from 2018 to 2021. Prior to their university studies, Marine Vallez completed their secondary education at Lycée Vaugelas and obtained a Baccalauréat scientifique degree in 2015. Additionally, they hold a Permis de conduire (B) certification.
