Dr. Steve Ryland PT, DPT has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dr. Steve began their career in 1991 as a General Manager for Hooters of America. Dr. Steve then transitioned to the healthcare industry, where they served as Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation/Outpatient Orthopedics/Homecare at Health First and later as CEO and Founder of Beachside Physical Therapy, where they managed the operations and accelerated company growth.

Dr. Ryland then served as Chief Quality and Outcomes Director at Okyanos Center for Regenerative Medicine, where they instituted the development and implementation of the organization's quality outcome measurement program, leading to significant success rates in orthopedics and patient satisfaction. Dr. Steve then served as Chief Operating Officer for First Choice Medical Group/Orthopaedics, where they spearheaded the clinical orthopedic outpatient services, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and conceptualized long-term plans.

Dr. Ryland's most recent positions include Vice President of Operations Florida Space Coast and CEO Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital/Regional Director of Clinical Services at Steward Health Care, where they supervised a 69-bed acute care rehabilitation hospital, utilized superior organizational skills to drive business expansion, profitability, and high-quality client services, and aligned unit efforts to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Dr. Steve is currently CEO and Founder of Align Physical Therapy, Inc., where they help the community live pain-free and in optimal health and well-being by providing exceptional physical and occupational therapy services.

Dr. Steve Ryland PT, DPT obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics/International Affairs from Florida State University in 1991. From 1994-1996, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy/Therapist from the University of Central Florida - College of Medicine. Later on, in 2006 they earned their Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Boston University School of Medicine.
