Katrin is an analyst on Align's catalytic capital investment team. Prior to joining Align, she was an analyst at Carbon America, a carbon capture and sequestration project developer, where she identified policy-based value streams for company projects and tracked market developments in the voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Additionally, Katrin has worked twice as an intern with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance. During her time with the Institute, she co authored a policy paper on elections during democratic transitions and lived in La Paz, Bolivia, where she worked to empower youth and female political voices preceding the country's 2019 national elections.
