Kimmo Väisänen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Kimmo started their career at Nokia Mobile Phones as a Trainee in SW development and worked there until 2004, holding roles such as SW/HW Integration Engineer and Design Engineer. From 2004 to 2012, Kimmo worked at Nokia in various roles, including SW Design Engineer, SW Integration Specialist, and Senior SW Integration Specialist, specializing in Windows Phone development and UI integration. Kimmo then joined Nokia Siemens Networks in 2013 as a Senior Specialist SW. In 2017, Kimmo joined Arm as a Staff Software Engineer and later moved to Pelion in 2020 as a Staff Software Engineer. In 2022, they worked at Elektrobit as a Senior Expert for a short period before joining Alif Semiconductor as a Senior Application Engineer. Overall, Kimmo Väisänen has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, integration, and development for various technology companies.

Kimmo Väisänen attended the University of Oulu from 1995 to 2004, where they earned a master's degree in Embedded Systems.
