Amy D. has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Amy started their career as a Medical Technologist at Lowell General Hospital in 2007, where they worked until 2013. Amy then joined Mayo Medical Laboratories as a Technical Manager from 2012 to 2016. In 2010, they also began working as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Massachusetts Lowell until 2017, and briefly at the University of New Hampshire in 2016. Amy then worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock as a Laboratory Section Supervisor from 2016 to 2018, and later as a Laboratory Manager from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, Amy joined Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety. Amy recently transitioned to the role of Associate Vice President of Quality, Patient Safety, Compliance, and Risk in February 2021. Amy's expertise lies in quality control, patient safety, laboratory management, and teaching in the healthcare field.

Amy D. earned a Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2012. Prior to that, they graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in the same field of study. In August 2016, Amy obtained the Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
