Jingren Zhou is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading major technical divisions within top-tier companies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President at Alibaba Cloud since June 2015, Jingren Zhou drives innovations in data intelligent infrastructure and applications tailored for e-commerce and cloud services. Prior to Alibaba, a tenure at Microsoft from June 2004 to May 2015 included roles such as Partner Development Manager for Big Data Infrastructure and Architect for Bing.com Infrastructure, where Jingren Zhou led the development of SCOPE, a distributed computation system designed for large-scale data analysis. Jingren Zhou holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China.
