Valerie Schmitt serves as the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at Aliaxis since October 2019, where significant accomplishments include developing a three-year Global DEI Roadmap and launching various initiatives such as a global e-learning awareness program and a Human Rights review based on UN Guiding Principles. Valerie has held multiple leadership roles, including VP HR EMEA and Global HR Director Operations & Corporate, contributing to organizational transformations and enhancing employee engagement across several companies. With extensive experience in HR leadership, Valerie's previous roles include HR Director EMEA at Thomas & Betts, HR Director Europe at ABB, and HR Director at Travelport, among others. Valerie holds Executive MBA degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as a Master's degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Chambéry.
