Aurélien B. has a diverse work experience in the field of intellectual property law. Aurélien worked as a Doctoral Researcher at Centre d'Etudes Internationales de la Propriété Intellectuelle (CEIPI) from October 2016 to November 2021 and continued to work there as an Associate Researcher from June 2022 onwards. Aurélien also worked as a Doctoral Teaching Assistant and Consultant from October 2016 to October 2019. In 2018, they served as a Doctoral Teaching Assistant at CEIPI. Additionally, Aurélien B. worked as a Contentious IP Lawyer at SPRE - Société pour la Perception de la Rémunération Equitable in 2016. Aurélien gained further experience as a Legal Intern specializing in IP/ICT at Nouveau Monde Avocats from May to September 2015.

Furthermore, Aurélien B. held the position of Invited Researcher at UA - Universidad de Alicante / Universitat d'Alacant from September 2019 to January 2020. Aurélien B. has a diverse education history. Aurélien completed a Master 2 degree in Intellectual Property and Cultural Heritage at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Master 1 degree in International Business Law at the Universitat d'Alacant from 2011 to 2012. Aurélien also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, graduating in 2011. In addition to their legal studies, Aurélien attended the Conservatoire national de région de Lille, where they completed a Diploma in Solfege in 2006 and achieved Diplômes de fin de second cycle in both Recorder (2006) and Flute (2005).
