John Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John is currently working at Algorand as the Director of Software Engineering, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Team Lead of DevOps at Algorand from March 2020 to September 2020. Before joining Algorand, John worked at Uberflip as the Senior Director of DevOps from November 2019 to February 2020. John spent a significant portion of their career at SnapApp, where they held the role of Senior Director of Technology from January 2011 to November 2019. John also has experience as the Director of IT at Pangea Media from March 2007 to January 2011, and as the CTO at Focalex, Inc. from July 2006 to March 2007. John has also worked at FOX Interactive Media and Intermix Media as the Director of IT. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of IT and Affiliate Program Director at Focalex, Inc. John started their career at Jmr Creations as the Vice President of Operations from July 1997 to August 2000.

John Lee attended the University of Chicago from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.
