Dr. Dean Allen is an accomplished professional with a focus on guest lecturing and speaking engagements within the cruise industry, currently serving as a Guest Lecturer for both Swan Hellenic Limited and The World, and as a Professional Speaker for several esteemed cruise lines including Silversea Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, and Holland America Line. In addition to these roles, Dr. Allen is an Ambassador for the Community Conservation Fund Africa and contributes as a columnist for HeraldLIVE and a podcast host for Algoa FM. A freelance author with a specific interest in the history of wildlife tourism in the Eastern Cape, Dr. Allen holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Sports History and Sociology from the University of Brighton and an MSc in Sport Science from Stellenbosch University.
