Marcia Leftwich is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and counseling. Currently serving as a Spiritual Counselor at Alfred Street Baptist Church since March 2020, Marcia previously worked as a Physical Science Teacher at Potomac Middle School and held a role as a Training Development/Program Specialist at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, where curriculum development for STEAM education was a key focus. Marcia's earlier experience includes a tenure as a Training Specialist at CGI, specializing in the development of computer-based training for business management software. Academically, Marcia holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling with a focus on Trauma and Crisis Response from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College.
