Scott Watson is an accomplished music educator and composer with extensive experience in academia and music publishing. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Music at Cairn University since January 2010, Watson teaches a range of courses including Composition and Music Technology. Additionally, Watson holds positions as an Artist-Lecturer in Composition at Moravian College and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Valley Forge and The University of the Arts. With a strong background in publishing, Watson has been a Composer/Arranger for Alfred Music Publishing since 2003, contributing to various catalogs and educational series. Prior roles include Band Director at Parkland School District and involvement in numerous educational institutions, focusing on music education technology and course development. Watson holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition from Temple University and remains active as an independent composer for diverse ensembles.
