Jochen Schanbacher serves as the Managing Director for Asia Pacific and General Manager in China at ALFA Klebstoffe AG since January 2017, focusing on the establishment and growth of sales and distribution channels for sustainable adhesive solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Project Manager at Oskar Frech GmbH + Co. KG, where Jochen led international technical projects and coordinated with various stakeholders. Jochen has also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at UNITY, assisting a Chinese car manufacturer in developing a motor parts factory, and provided market entry advisory services at Dezan Shira & Associates. Educational credentials include an MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, HSK 4 in Chinese Language from Fudan University, and a BA from the University of St.Gallen. Previous positions include Assistant in Information Technology at the University of St.Gallen and Information and Communication Electronic Engineer at Siemens.
