Katie Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katie started their career as an Intern at Women's Fashions in 2002. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as an Assistant Product Manager at Speedo America. Katie then transitioned to pharmaceutical sales, starting as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Reliant Pharmaceuticals Inc in 2005. Katie achieved top performance nationally and regionally, particularly in launching new products and increasing market share. In 2007, they joined Allergan Pharmaceuticals Inc as a Regional Speciality Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, specializing in Urology and Dermatology products. Katie continued to excel in their role, achieving significant market share growth and successfully launching new products. In 2018, Katie shifted their focus to clinical research and consultancy. Katie worked as an Associate Clinical Study Manager Consultant and Clinical Research Associate Consultant at Genus Lifesciences Inc until 2020. Since 2019, they have also held the position of Clinical Study Manager Consultant at AtlasMedx, Inc. In 2020, they joined RasCal Therapeutics, Inc. as a Clinical Study Manager Consultant, and in 2021, they moved to Alessa Therapeutics, Inc. as a Study Manager Consultant. Throughout their career, Katie has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of success in managing studies and achieving goals.

Katie Ruiz completed their education at Temple University - School of Pharmacy from 2010 to 2014, earning a Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Science. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Southern California from 1998 to 2003, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Germantown Academy from 1995 to 1998, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time.
