Kayla Walthall is an Emergency Medical Technician at Alert Ambulance Service, Inc., where responsibilities include providing medical care during interfacility transports and 911 emergencies, often adjusting to demanding schedules. Prior experience at Vassar College includes roles as a class note taker for medical sociology, human physiology, health economics, physics, and chemistry, as well as research positions in the Transitions Research Team and the Grand Challenges Initiative, focusing on student belonging and academic success for first-generation and low-income students. Additional roles include working as a mailroom clerk at USPS, a pre-orientation week leader for underrepresented students, and a production line associate at Fagron, demonstrating strong work ethic and adaptability in various environments. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and Society with a Biology correlate from Vassar College and is currently pursuing further education at Northeastern University.
