Knut Sandvold has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Knut began their career in 1987 as a Customer Manager at Den norske Bank and worked there until 1991. From 1992 to 1994, they served as an Assistant Event Manager for Ice hockey at the Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee (LOOC). Knut then joined Manpower AS as a Business Consultant and Project Manager from 1994 to 1996. In 1996, they became an HR Director at Pfizer AS and held the position until 2007. Knut then moved on to GE Healthcare as a Global HR Director from 2007 to 2009. After that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Pronova BioPharma ASA from 2009 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they were an HR Director at SATS ELIXIA, the largest Nordic Health & Fitness Group. Knut later became a Member of the Board of Directors at SAFE Education AB from 2015 to 2018. Since 2017, they have held the position of HR Director at Aleris Helse, one of Scandinavia's leading private health and care companies. Alongside that, they also served as a Board Member at Aleris Røntgen Holding AS from 2019 to 2021.
Knut Sandvold pursued their education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Trondheim Business School. Later, they attended the Stockholm School of Economics in 2001 and 2002, where they obtained a degree in Human Resources with a focus on Executive HR.
