Dian Romonosky-McSally, PhD, currently serves as an Analytical Chemist at Alene Candles, overseeing the analytical processes involving various instruments such as GC-MS, GC-FID, ICP-MS, and NIR. This role includes method development, equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and the authorship and review of standard operating procedures. Prior experience encompasses academia as a Lecturer at SUNY Geneseo, and postdoctoral research at Los Alamos National Laboratory, focusing on the optical properties of biomass burning carbonaceous aerosol. Dian holds a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from UC Irvine, where research involved mass spectrometry and environmental samples, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Millikin University.
