Nga Bien-Ly is a senior scientist currently serving as a Sr. Staff Scientist at Alector since December 2021. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Scientist at Denali Therapeutics from November 2015 to December 2021, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Genentech from March 2012 to October 2015, as well as at The J. David Gladstone Institutes from June 2011 to February 2012. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco, completed in 2011, and a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular & Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2002.
