Jose Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jose currently serves as the Chairman of the Talent & Compensation Committee at dmX. Previously, they worked as CEO & Managing Partner at Alder Koten | IMD, where they specialized in recruiting high-impact talent for organizations. Jose also held positions at IMD International Search Group, Anker Bioss, Bioss, Elavant, and Shelmex, serving as President & Chairman, Chairman, Managing Partner North America, and a Board Member, respectively. Jose was also involved with Capitalismo Consciente México and TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY in various leadership roles. Additionally, they became a NACD Board Leadership Fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors, where they empowered directors to lead with confidence in the boardroom. Jose Ruiz completed a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1991 and 1996. In 2016, they participated in an Executive Education program called "Making Corporate Boards More Effective" at Harvard Business School. In 2003, they completed a Certificate Program in Lean Manufacturing at San Diego State University.
In addition to their formal education, Jose Ruiz has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they completed the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Education-Scaling Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In 2020, they obtained the CERT Cybersecurity Oversight certification from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University. In 2016, they became a Board Leadership Fellow through the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
