Michael Rounds possesses extensive experience in hydraulic engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior Hydraulic Engineer and Project Manager at Alden Research Laboratory since August 2012. Prior to this, Michael worked at AECOM as a Project Engineer, focusing on floodplain management, sediment transport, and water quality projects from June 2009 to August 2012. Michael's earlier career includes a role as a Project Engineer at Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc., where responsibilities included designing stormwater treatment facilities and analyzing water quality data. Additionally, Michael gained foundational experience as an Engineering Intern at CH2M HILL and Clark County Public Works. An alumnus of Oregon State University, Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering in 2004.
