Mrs. Valerie Haastrup Taleb has a diploma in Human Resource Management and Performance Management. She joined SOS Children's Villages International in 1996, in the Regional Office for North Africa and the Middle East, where she was deputy to the Director-General until 2014. Since then she has been the representative of SOS Children's Villages International for different national associations in Europe and is a member of the Council of Administration of Villages in Portugal.
