Stephen Davia has been working as a Product Development Analyst at Alcresta Therapeutics since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Waiter at Kirkbrae Country Club from 2015 to 2017. During their time at the University of Rhode Island from 2017 to 2021, they held multiple roles, including Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Nisanne Ghonem's Pharmacology Research Laboratory, Student, Undergraduate Research Fellow in Dr. Navindra Seeram's Bioactive Botanical Research Laboratory, and Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Navindra Seeram's Bioactive Botanical Research Laboratory. In these roles, they worked on the analysis of proteomics data from a rat renal ischemia-reperfusion injury study, conducted protein concentration assays, extracted MSX from maple products, analyzed antioxidant activity and total phenolic content, and extracted, isolated, purified and identified polysaccharides from natural product samples.
Stephen Davia attended the University of Rhode Island from 2017 to 2020 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
