Emaniel Chekelea is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering and Head of IT Service Operations for Commercial & Digital IT at Alcon since January 2018, Emaniel has previously held key positions at Novartis, including IT Business Partner and ERP Account Manager from June 2014 to January 2018. Prior to Novartis, Emaniel worked at Alcon Laboratory Inc as IT Head for SAP Operations Support and gained valuable experience at Microsoft as an Escalation Engineer specializing in Microsoft SQL Server Support. Early career roles include Systems Executive at NIIT Technologies Limited and Project Scientific Assistant at the National Remote Sensing Agency in India. Emaniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Osmania University.
