Jorge Carvalho currently serves as Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Alcoa since October 2011, where Jorge has held various finance-related positions including Director of Finance - Transactions and Regional Finance Director & Corporate Controller. Additionally, Jorge has been the Presidente do Conselho de Administração at Baesa - Energetica Barra Grande S.A. since March 2021. Prior to joining Alcoa, Jorge worked at Ernst & Young from October 2003 to October 2011, progressing from Tax Consultant to Tax Senior Manager, including an 18-month rotation in Chicago, IL as part of the International Tax Rotation Program. Jorge's educational background includes a Finance/Valuation degree from the University of Oxford, an MBA in Financial Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and undergraduate studies at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas and Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
