Fernando Iglesias Navarro has extensive experience in IT and process control management within the aluminum industry, currently serving as Global IT and PCS Audit Manager at Alcoa since July 2001. Fernando has held multiple positions at Alcoa, including Europe Information Technology and Automation Systems Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing IT and automation across eight plants in Europe, and Europe Process Control Systems Service Manager, overseeing the integration of Norwegian smelters. Previous roles include Reliability and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Manager, and Process Engineer – Reliability Engineer, focusing on electrical project management and high voltage safety. Prior to Alcoa, Fernando served as Electrical Engineering Manager at Técnicas y Servicios Energéticos de Galicia, and as Control and Instrumentation Engineer at MADE Tecnologias Renovables. An Industrial Engineer with additional executive business education from Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa and University of Pittsburgh, Fernando combines technical expertise with strong management skills.
