David Maxton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. David is currently serving as the Managing Director - Global Commercial at Alchemy Global Solutions since December 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Global Director of Pricing and Analytics at the same company from November 2021 to January 2023, and also worked as the Global Account Director from November 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining Alchemy Global Solutions, David held various roles at Macquarie Group. David worked as a Vice President from July 2018 to October 2019, a Manager from July 2016 to June 2018, an Executive from July 2014 to June 2016, and a Business Analyst from November 2010 to July 2014.

David also gained experience at Nomura as an Analyst from January 2010 to September 2010. David started their professional career as an Administrator at the Australian Rugby Union from June 2009 to December 2009.

David Maxton completed their education at the University of Sydney, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) degree from 2007 to 2012. During the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a specialization in Finance. Prior to their university education, David attended Knox Grammar School from 1997 to 2006. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained the NSW Law Practicing Certificate from The Law Society of NSW in June 2017.
