Sy Yeu Joe C. has had a varied career, beginning with a Research Intern role at Academia Sinica, Taiwan in 2012. In 2013, they were an NSF Research Intern at Brown University, and in 2014 they were a Tutor at Varsity Tutors. From 2012-2015, they were a Grader at Cornell University, and from 2015-2017 they were a Data Scientist at Capital One - ShareBuilder. In 2015, they were also a Sr. Imaging Scientist at Intel Corporation, and from 2017-2019 they were a Software Development Engineer at Amazon. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Principal Software Engineer at NYDIG, where they have partnered with stakeholders to determine requirements, plan, and execute on multiple projects, including developing a new crypto loan management tool, leading a team to create a customer facing web portal, and driving the adoption of an event driven architecture. Since 2023, they have been a Software Engineer at Alchemy.

Sy Yeu Joe C. completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Cornell University between 2010 and 2014. Sy Yeu Joe then pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington between 2014 and 2015. In 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Sy Yeu Joe also completed an Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree from Udacity in 2018. Prior to this, they attended University High School from 2006 to 2010.
