G P has a diverse work experience starting from 2004, working as a Project Engineer at Polaris Software Lab, responsible for designing, developing and implementing complex non-residential banking applications. In 2006, they became a Subject Matter Expert at Amdocs DVCI, where they translated product manager and customer requirements into design, developed, built, and implemented telecom operations support system. From 2007, G P worked at Oracle India Pvt Ltd as an Applications Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, developing, building, and implementing the retail merchandising system.

From 2010, G P worked at MetricStream for nine years in different roles, including as an Architect, Technical Architect and migrating the existing application to Kubernetes Cluster, developing coding guidelines, implementing best coding practices, and tools. Their technical leadership and support to software development teams ensured the implementation of agreed architecture, infrastructure, and addressed technical concerns related to business goals.

From 2019, G P worked as a Platform Engineer at Envoy, where they worked on Kubernetes Cluster management, extensible workflows, and pipelines for deploying team-built and OSS applications to the cluster, build CLI tools to simplify everyday infrastructure operations, and integrate with Zapier and SNS to streamline the SRE process. G P also adopted security practices and strategies eliminating using AWS Key IDs across the ecosystem and standardized workflows in how AWS TF resources are managed and deployed.

Currently, G P is a Platform Engineer at Alchemy, offering their skills in platform engineering.

G P attended SA Engineering College (University of Madras) from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
