Tom Patterson has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. Tom began their career as an Advisor for Ridge Ventures in 2011. In 2014, they became a Board Member for Dale Carnegie, a world leader in public speaking and leadership training, and a Mentor and Coach for Alchemist Accelerator. Tom also served as an Advisor for Fixya in 2013.
In 2015, Tom Patterson became an Advisor for Survata and in 2016, they took on the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, Head of Growth and Strategy for BetterUp. Tom also acted as a Strategic Advisor to the company.
In 2020, Tom Patterson became a Strategic Advisor for Brightside and Even Financial. Tom was also the CEO and Founder of Leap Life, which was acquired by Even Financial in April of 2020. Tom had previously been an Advisor for KIXEYE, which was acquired by Stillfront in 2017.
Tom Patterson obtained their MBA from Harvard Business School in 1996, having studied General Management. Before that, they obtained their BS in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1991. In 2013, they also obtained a certification in Appeal to Buyer Motives to Close More Sales from Dale Carnegie.
