Andrew Clapp has extensive experience in business development and venture capital. Andrew began their career in 1977 as President of Cambridge Corporation Publishers, a family of publications focusing on the M&A and corporate development industry. In 1989, they became a Partner at C.W. Downer & Co., where they established and led the sell side practice. In 1995, they co-founded Brook Venture Partners, where they raised Brook Fund I and Brook Fund II and formed many limited partnerships to raise money for individual companies. In 2009, they co-founded Arctaris Capital, which formed the Arctaris Income Fund, LP, one of the first Royalty Capital funds. In 2016, they became a Partner at CIG Capital, a provider of long term debt for real estate projects. In 2017, they became a Senior Advisor at Schwartz Heslin Group, Inc. In 2020, they became a Managing Partner at Brightside Venture Capital, which invests directly and aggregates capital for early revenue-stage companies. In 2022, they became a Business Development Executive at AlcaCruz and Business Development at Parkway Autonomous. Andrew also became a Business Development Executive at Career Town Network Inc.
Andrew Clapp received their MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 1968, after earning their B.S. from Clarkson University in 1966. Their B.S. was earned through a Business/Engineering Program.
