Vignesh Raj has extensive experience in the field of naval architecture and shipbuilding, currently serving as a Project Engineer at Albwardy Damen since September 2019. Vignesh has progressed through various roles at the company, including Junior Project Engineer and Junior Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Editor for the Society of Naval Architecture Students SNAS, where two editions of SHIPSTECHNIC were published and several skill development programs were conducted. Vignesh designed a Solar Inland Ferry during the graduate studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology and completed internships at Cochin Shipyard Limited and Hindustan Shipyard Limited, gaining valuable insights into ship production processes. Educational credentials include a BTech in Naval Architecture and Ship Building from Cochin University of Science and Technology and foundational education in computer science and high school studies in India.
