Visu Viswanathan is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in power system engineering and operations data management. Currently serving as an Engineer Specialist in Modeling and previously as a Manager of Operations Systems Data Management at AESO since February 2012, Visu has a robust understanding of the energy sector. Prior experience includes roles as an Operations Planning Engineer In Training at ATCO Electric and as an Engineer in Training in the New Grad Program at ATCO Power. Visu's career began as an Operations Planning Intern at ATCO Electric. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Internship from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, completed in 2008.
